www.whois.com – Go to Whois.com and search for the domain name (www.company.com). If the company is claiming they have been offering jobs for 10 years and the site is 3 months old that is a huge red flag.

www.google.com – Write down the company name and the name the domain is registered under (if applicable). Google it, like this: “Company Name”+scam

www.ripoffreport.com – Ripoff Report® is a worldwide consumer reporting Web site and publication, by consumers, for consumers, to file and document complaints about companies or individuals.

www.bbb.org – The Better Business Bureau

www.ftc.gov – Federal Trade Commission – While the FTC does not resolve individual consumer problems, your complaint helps them investigate fraud, and can lead to law enforcement action.
