Online Editor Needed – Work From Home

The position requires a broad range of skills: selecting suitable articles for publication, copy editing, headline writing/editing, use of our CMS and some home-page production, and concern for editorial detail. All of this, under tight deadline.

A strong candidate will have:

(1) significant experience in online media production and use of a content management system,
(2) strong knowledge of the stock market, investment fundamentals and standards of financial media,
(3) the ability to effectively monitor, discern, edit and publish from dozens of aggregated sources,
(4) proven judgment in headline editing and understanding of significant market news,
(5) excellent copyediting/proofreading skills, and
(6) ability to operate professionally and cooperatively in a virtual office setting.

The position will be performed from a home office in any continental U.S. time zone and requires high-speed Internet access.

The Editor will report to our Managing Editor.
